Chapman started its journey in the late 80’s in Singapore, establishing itself in International freight forwarding company. Since inception Chapman has specialized in Non Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) and cargo consolidation service concentrating on Dangerous Goods (DG) which is our forte.
We comply with the both International and local ports regulation, International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG CODE) and International Air Transport Association (IATA), thus making us one of the pioneer in freight forwarding industry.
Now we have expanded our range of services to become a total logistics solution provider. We offer multi-modal logistics management anywhere from General cargo to Project cargo for airfreight and both Less Than Container Load (LCL) and Full Container Load (FCL) for business-to-business shippers through a global network of nearly 250 offices in 103 countries.

Over the years of understanding and knowledge in regards to Dangerous Goods (DG), our well trained and experience staff can safe handle and transport all hazardous categories. This is important all Dangerous Cargo (DG) must be treated with respect and to the utmost professionalism as it “can be” an aggressive reactant to some materials.
Many substances found in our everyday life can be classified as dangerous goods, which pose risk to health, safety, property or the environment during operation and/or transportation. To prevent any hazardous accidents for both crew and other cargo transport either while at sea or air, International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG), International Air Transport Association (IATA) and also with each individual country ports has seperated Dangerous Goods in 9 different classes(Annex “A”) based on the specific chemical characteristics producing the risk. We comply with the all the requirements set by these organizations. These Regulations and others can be a minefield to the uninitiated.
